Excellent materials, but...

This is a beautiful piece of art with some fascinating historical background in the video. My only suggestion is that there needs to be more explanation about water control or paint handling in the instructions -- or appropriate paints should be included in the kit. I tried to do these with traditional pan watercolors, and invariably the color bled outside the lines. I tried it three times before basically giving up (I had four copies of the same design.) I imagine it might work better with paints directly from the tube, but I didn't have those available at the moment, and the instructions didn't specify that those were necessary.
